Headquartered in Southborough, Mass., Webco Engineering designs and manufactures a range of winders, slitter/rewinders, and support equipment including unwinds and roll wrapping stations. Best known for its range of two-drum winders, Webco says it has “successfully maintained” its leadership role by keeping pace with market changes and customer demands.

This past year has seen further expansion in domestic and global markets with installations in Brazil, Australia and Thailand. According to the company, much of this success can be attributed to the “continuous advances in design, both electronically and mechanically, contributing to greater operator efficiency and safer operational environments.”

Webco installations in Canada include: Domtar Papers (Windsor, Ont.); McDermid Paper Converters (Oakville, Ont.); Sonoco Products (Brantford, Ont.); Cascades (Berthierville, Que.); and Cascades (Kingsey Falls, Que.).
