Weyerhaeuser has renamed its pulp business to Weyerhaeuser Cellulose fibres. The company contends the new name is a more accurate reflection of the activities it carries out.

"Cellulose Fibres clarifies the characteristics of the products to current customers and those in new markets," explained Arnfinn Giske, vice president and manager of the business. "The new name is an integral part of our branding and market development efforts."
