Weyerhaeuser’s Sacramento document destruction centre has been approved for membership by Information Protection Solutions of America.

All IPSA partners are AAA-rated NAID members, as is Weyerhaeuser. The facility combines shredding and recycling capabilities, while ensuring maximum protection and security. Once a Weyerhaeuser customer designates a particular sensitive document for destruction, security becomes the primary focus. The Sacramento centre provides locked protection of documents before transit, padlocked trucks while en route, certificates of destruction, as well as video verification services.

The membership provides a dual benefit to Weyerhaeuser, due to its built-in need for post-consumer recovered paper. The company can put its customer’s shredded documents to immediate reuse while avoiding the costs and potential security issues of multiple handling.
