Local employees from Weyerhaeuser facilities teamed up with the Seattle/King County Habitat for Humanity chapter to build the single-family home. The project is the last of the 32 homes built by the company in Canada and the U.S. to mark the 25th anniversary of the Mount St. Helens eruption.

The project was announced last year, as part of a $1 million campaign to rebuild houses for families in three Canadian provinces and 18 states, in remembrance of the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption.
