Weyerhaeuser has decided not to rebuild its Bowling Green North corrugated packaging facility after the roof collapsed on December 23rd. Although no one was hurt in the accident, 120 jobs will be lost due to the closure.

New equipment will instead be added to another of the company’s box plants in the area, which will increase the plant’s production capacity. Some of the employees who lost their jobs will be moved to the other plant.
