Weyerhaeuser is branching out to produce an absorbent new fibre. The company’s Port Wentworth, GA cellulose fibre mill is gearing up to start manufacturing fluff pulp.

The company confirmed that market demand prompted the decision to add the capacity. "These changes are being implemented in response to strong demand from our customers," said Arnfinn Giske, vice president of Cellulose Fibres.
