KSB LAUNCHES AMAREX KRT

Mississauga, ON — KSB has developed the AMAREX KRT waste water pump, which sports a closed jacket cooling system of the motor. Independent of the fluid handled, it ensures optimal heat dissipation in all operating conditions. Combined with this feature, an internal heat exchanger supports the motor cooling.

Memphis, TN — Buckman Laboratories was one of 13 companies honoured this year by an international association of companies and organizations focusing on the dissemination of knowledge. Buckman was among 24 finalists for the award. This marked the fourth year that the North American Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises awards have been given.

ABB BUYS HSB

Norwalk, CT — ABB has purchased HSB Reliability and HSB Reliability Systems groups. The groups were part of the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company and will now be integrated into ABB’s service organization. The acquired businesses have over 70 years of reliability and maintenance consulting and implementation experience.

EMCO RELEASES AP 500-M

Germany — emco GmbH Leipzig has developed the AP 500-M unit. The technology can measure to depths of 300 mm with a high measured volume of waste paper without destroying the bale. It provides connections to a PC or printer and measuring data are stored in the unit and can be recorded. Customer or lorry data can also be entered into the unit.
