Kadant Web Systems Inc. has launched its Uniset™ blade holder featuring an integrated T-rail holder removal system. This patent-pending holder is designed to upgrade the popular DST-style blade holder, as well as competitive blade holders.
The all-composite construction of the Uniset system is lightweight and facilitates easy removal of the holder for cleaning and maintenance. The heat-and corrosion-resistant material works in nearly all mill environments and permits easy inventory management as spare holders can be “cut-to-fit” prior to installation in the particular position.
Uniset blade holders are available for both light-duty cleaning applications and for heavy-duty sheet shedding applications. Both models use conventional load and unload tubes and doctor blades.
