International technology provider Andritz has acquired Iggesund Tools International AB, headquartered in Iggesund, Sweden, including its subsidiaries in the USA, Canada, and other countries. The acquired companies have approximately 160 employees. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Iggesund Tools – now Andritz Iggesund Tools – supplies wood chipping and debarking equipment (mainly chipper knife systems) for pulp and saw mills. The acquisition will strengthen and complement the Andritz pulp and paper business area’s service offerings in the wood processing area.
