A mechanical breakdown led Ainsworth Lumber to implement an impromptu curtailment at its OSB plant in Grand Rapids, MN.
The mill started up again on January 14, after a fire in the wood strand storage on January 4, halted production.

The breakdown occurred in the facility’s pressing equipment, on January 17. The company hasn’t confirmed how long the shutdown will be, however, its initial report indicated that production won’t resume before five to seven days.
