Abitibi-Consolidated Inc. has sold its Wayagamack mill in Trois Rivires, QC, to Kruger Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Kruger plans to eventually produce a full range of groundwood grades at the mill that are not part of Abitibi’s core products. The deal is expected to close before March 31, 2001.
