Buckman increases pulp and paper freight pricing in North America

October 11, 2018 – Buckman, a global company specializing in innovative chemical and smart solutions, has announced changes to its freight pricing for the pulp and paper industry in North America.

Effective November 1, 2018, or as contracts allow, Buckman will implement the following freight delivery increases:

• Buckman-arranged bulk tank truck orders – $.02 – $.04/lb.
• Buckman-arranged IBC/drum truck orders – $.02/lb.

The company says the change is being driven by the continued shortage of drivers, limited capacity of truck and rail carriers, new freight regulations and rising cost of fuel.
