In response to concern over the SARS issue, the Market Pulp Association decided to cancel the MPA Market Pulp Conference which was to be held on May 11-14, 2003, in Vancouver, BC.
The conference had been expected to bring together industry participants from around the world, representing both producers and consumers of market pulp. Concerns over travel following the SARS outbreak made it impossible for many registrants to attend the conference as planned. All paid conference registrants will be reimbursed their registration fee. The conference will be rescheduled to May 2004 in Vancouver.
