Delay for Cascades European merger (February 01, 2008)

Kingsey Falls, QC -Cascades recently announced that the merger of its European recycled boxboard operations with Reno de Medici has been delayed to allow sufficient time to complete approval procedures with the competent antitrust regulators. The approval procedures are expected to be completed in February, at which time a new date will be set for the merger.
