Domtars security holders have given the green light to the Plan of Arrangement required for the companys proposed combination with Weyerhaeusers fine paper business. The approval came at a meeting held on February 26.

In accordance with regular procedures, it is anticipated that definitive court approval of the plan will be obtained shortly. The transaction is scheduled to close the week of March 5.
