April 21, 2020  By P&PC Staff

Domtar’s pulp and paper mill in Dryden, Ontario is postponing its scheduled spring maintenance period as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dryden Now reports that the mill will only perform critical maintenance during the outage with about 100 operators instead of the usual 500 to allow for physical distancing.

The shutdown is now scheduled for May 16 and will last for three weeks.
