Georgia-Pacific will close one of its plants in Green Bay, Wisconsin by early 2020.

According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, the company will shutter its converting facility at 1100 W. Mason St. in Green Bay and move its napkin and towel production to other plants in the area.

The company cited the state of the facility and its assets as reasons for the closure.

All 55 employees have been offered other positions at Georgia-Pacific’s other Green Bay locations. The 28 employees who did not accept new positions will be laid off between December 26 and January 9.
