Pristine Power of Calgary and Vancouver-based Nexterra Energy are proposing a network of 15 or more 10 to 20 megawatt electricity plants powered by waste wood in forestry-dependent communities, Houston Today reported.

Mawera Canada, an arm of the Austrian biomass energy giant, is eyeing BC’s Bulkley Valley as a potential biomass plant location.
