Kemira is announcing price increases for its paper chemical products in all major markets. The increases range from five to 15%, depending on product, and will be effective for all deliveries on or after February 1, 2011 or as specific contract terms allow.
The company continues to take actions to minimize the impact of escalating raw material costs, but says it is necessary to adjust pricing in order to compensate for the energy impact, other raw material costs, and increased freight costs of the paper chemical product lines.
