The $21 billion deal that made headlines in November has been wrapped up. Koch Industries now owns Georgia-Pacific.
The $21 billion deal that made headlines in November has been wrapped up. Koch Industries now owns Georgia-Pacific.
Operating under its own name, Georgia-Pacific has merged with the Koch subsidiary, Koch Forest Products.
“Beyond viewing Georgia-Pacific as a high-quality investment, we view is as a whole new set of platforms for growth,” Charles G. Koch, chairman and CEO of Koch, said of the deal.
