KP Tissue Inc. has filed a preliminary prospectus for a proposed initial public offering of its common shares. The corporation’s sole purpose is to acquire an equity interest in Kruger Products L.P. following the completion of the proposed initial public offering of its common shares.
Kruger Products L.P. is a manufacturer of tissue products for household, industrial and commercial use. Kruger Products serves the Canadian consumer market with the following brands: Cashmere®, Purex®, SpongeTowels®, Scotties® and White Swan®. In the U.S., Kruger Products manufactures the White Cloud® brand, as well as many private label products.
Kruger Products has approximately 2,300 employees across North America and operates five mills, four of which are located in Canada and one in the US. Kruger Products is currently a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kruger Inc.
