Kruger Products emphasizes its capacity to support Canadian facial tissue demand

August 28, 2023  By P&PC Staff

Kruger Products released a statement reminding Canadian consumers that its facial tissues, made in Canada, are here to stay. The statement comes on the heels of Kimberly-Clark’s recent announcement to permanently remove Kleenex facial tissues from the Canadian market.

Kruger Products has eight manufacturing plants in Canada with significant capacity to supply facial tissue in the market, notes the company. As part of its previously announced $1 billion asset investment, Kruger Products has a new high-quality facial tissue line starting up in Quebec in December 2023. The company is also looking at securing additional facial tissue capacity shortly with more details to follow.

A major stakeholder in the facial tissue category, Kruger Products states that it will continue serving consumers, customers and communities from coast to coast. Consumers can choose from Scotties, or explore the newest brand in the category, Bonterra facial tissue.
