Resolute Forest Products has released its latest annual Resolute at a Glance corporate leaflet. Available on the company’s website, it provides more than an overview of its operations and products. The leaflet reportedly tells the company’s sustainability story on its priorities, performance and how it is progressing on its commitments.

On the environment front, Resolute reportedly tracks its GHG emissions, satisfies most of its energy requirements with renewable sources such as carbon-neutral biomass and hydroelectricity, and repurposes for beneficial use some 87 percent of the pulp, paper and tissue mill residues.

Underlying its work in the area of sustainability is a number that Resolute is particularly proud of: 100. Of the forests it harvests, 100 percent are regenerated and 100 percent of the woodlands Resolute manages are certified to internationally recognized standards. The company adds that 100 percent of its facilities have fibre tracking systems, and 100 percent of these are third-party certified.
