IRVINE, CA — Wonderware has released a software suite that gives users improved maintenance scheduling, inventory, requisitioning purchasing and invoicing capabilities. “This enhanced version of Atlantis.XA incorporates the important features and new functional improvements our customer base has asked for,” said Mary June Pearson, product manager. “[It] provides integration enhancements with the graphical user interface to Microsoft desktop applications, as well as enhancements to the requisitioning area to completely automate the procurement process — providing a truly paperless solution.” But it might be the preventative maintenance function that might interest paper producers the most. It includes such capabilities as checklists, material safety data sheets, automatic work order generation and PM routes. In short, this application helps users look at maintenance as a planned activity rather than as repair work.
