The Paper Industry International Hall of Fame will induct six notables: Nathan Bergstrom, Bergstrom Paper Co.; Stanley J. Buckman, Buckman Laboratories; Morris W. Kuchenbecker, James River Corporation; Joseph J. Plank, J.J. Plank Co.; Richard J. Pratt, Visy Industries; Thomas H. Schmidt, Wisconsin Paper Council.

Tembec’s Pulp Group president Terrence Kavanagh will also serve as Paper Group president, following the departure of Denis Turcotte.

Jacques Mallette resigned his post as president and CEO of Cascades Boxboard Group, Inc. Cascades president and CEO, Laurent Lemaire, takes over his duties, while Denis Jean was named president and CEO of its Fine Paper Group.

Valerie B. Wylie was appointed executive director of the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame.

Michel Julien was appointed as engineering manager for Canmec Pulp & Paper.

ABB Group executive VP Dinesh Paliwal will head its newly formed Industries Division.

Doug Seto joined Adinfonitum as managing partner and member of the board of directors.

Norske Skog’s corporate assembly elected forest owner Lars Wilhelm Groholt as chairman of the board. Jan A. Oksum was elected chairman of NorskeCanada.
