PIMA recently named its new board members for 2002-2003. Ray Heuchling, Irving Forest Products is national president. Bob Morrison, Voith Fabrics, is national PIMA affiliate chair. Harry Seamans, Potlatch Corp., is first VP, Diane Murdock, Fluidix Microforming Systems, is first affiliate vice chairman. International Paper’s Robert Taylor is second VP, Terry Gallagher, ONDEO Nalco Chemical Co., second affiliate vice chairman, and Georgia-Pacific’s Benjamin Thorp is chairman of board of trustees.

Danaher Corp. has appointed Kurt Gallo as president of Danaher Power Solutions, Richmond, VA.

Stacey Nelson was named manager of human resources for Mohawk Paper Mills Inc.

Concert Industries named Jay Whitwham as VP, CFO and secretary of the company.

Rita V. Foley was named president of MeadWestvaco’s Consumer Packaging Group. Block She succeeds Richard H. Block who was promoted to group chairman.

Vancouver-based CellFor Inc. appointed John Pait as VP of U.S. markets.

John H. Mullin, III, chairman of Ridgeway Farm in Brookneal, VA, joins the Sonoco board of directors.

Dr. Herbert Ortner, retired senior VP, Integrated Paper Mill Projects, Voith Paper Holding in Heidenheim, Germany, has been named a TAPPI Fellow.

Tony Johnson was elected president of APPITA, Australia and New Zealand’s pulp and paper technical association.

Darin DuBois joins Dienes Corp. as systems engineer, while Edward Prinsen II was hired as service technician.

Dan Godbout joins Metso Drives as technical sales manager, covering Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
