Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation has opened an innovation center at the company’s Carol Stream, IL, facility. “Our Innovation Center serves as a creative venue for brainstorming and collaborating with our customers on innovative packaging ideas, as well as an internal resource centre for our new product innovation, business development and research development teams,” said the company’s director of packaging innovation, Tony Hancock.
