Employees at Wardrop Engineering Inc. are hanging out the welcome sign at their new Mississauga office, located at the Meadowvale Business Park area, near highway 401.
When staff numbers in previous location were nearing capacity, a consultant was hired to review current staffing needs along with the company’s growth plans. While consideration was given to merging all of Wardrop’s Greater Toronto Area (GTA) offices and staff at one location, this was quickly dismissed when corporate objectives to balance work-life and minimize commute times were considered.
All other Wardrop locations in the GTA will remain at their current locations.
“It’s important that our staff have access to public transportation and a reasonable commute to work. The new office is close to all modes of transportation including the Go Train and buses,” says Shayne Smith, president of the company. “We’re pleased with the selected location, which offers a comfortable and healthy work environment with 30,000 sq. ft. of office space and room for expansion,” he adds.
