Weyerhaeuser Company sold its Chester, SC, plywood and lumber complex and its Moncure, NC hardwood plywood mill to Wood Resources LLC. Wood Resources has confirmed it intends to invest heavily in the two businesses. The 285 people employed at the plywood mill and the 30 people working at the sawmill will keep their jobs.
