CONTRACT

VOITH SIGNS NINE DRAGONS

Dongguan Nine Dragons Paper — one of the biggest packaging producers in the world — and Voith Paper have come together again to sign a big order for four paper machines. All machines will come on stream within the next 24 months.

Two new complete lines PM18 and PM28

Both machines are identical and will be built with a wire width of 7,280 mm for a high quality corrugating medium, produced in a basis weight range of 7-110 g/m2. The design speed is 1,800 m/min and the plants are laid out to a daily production of approx. 1,250 tons.

Two new complete lines PM 27 and PM 32

Again, both machines are identical and will be built with a wire width of 7,240 mm for high quality kraftliner and testliner, produced in a basis weight range of 115-175 g/m2. The design speed is 1,150 m/min and the plants are laid out to a daily production of approx. 1,300 tons.

The PM supplied last to Nine Dragons Paper by Voith Paper was the Sea Dragon BM 11. It produces high-grade, white-coated board and was started up mid-January 2007.

Nine Dragons Paper is one of the biggest producers of packaging papers globally. Located in Dongguan and Taican, the company actually operates 11 packaging paper machines with a total capacity of 4.5 million tons a year.
