Cascades cardboard tray recognized with sustainable packaging design award

Photo: Cascades Cascades shared in a press statement that its cardboard tray has won an “Award of Distinction” in the Sustainable Packaging Design category of the PAC Global Awards.
This distinction reflects Cascades’ commitment to creating packaging that is both high-performing and environmentally friendly, says the company. The tray has been specifically crafted to provide an effective and sustainable packaging solution for products such as proteins, fresh fruits, and vegetables. It is reportedly recyclable and made from 100 percent recycled fibres to meet the expectations of customers looking for eco-designed packaging.
Furthermore, Cascades was also in the running for its new corrugated cardboard produce baskets with flaps.
The PAC Global Award is a prestigious ceremony in the global packaging industry, celebrating cutting-edge innovations and design excellence. It is part of the PAC Global Awards Competition, open to international individuals and companies involved in brand ownership, graphic design, structural design, pre-press, and manufacturing. The purpose is to celebrate global brand package design and innovation, with a focus on inclusivity, accessibility, sustainability, and collaboration. The annual celebrations occur at the Futures Edge Summit in New York City. The competition is open to entities worldwide, emphasizing outstanding contributions to packaging design and innovation.
