Feltest offers DigiMicro for inspection of machine clothing

February 27, 2019 – Feltest has restocked its DigiMicro product, a digital microscope technology and 200x optical magnification for inspection in on- or off-line pulp and paper applications.

The DigiMicro allows the user to visually check the wear of forming fabrics during a short shutdown, inspect the grooves and holes of press and suction rolls, check the tip of creping and doctor blades, and look at contaminations in the sheet or the quality of the trimmed edges.

The device captures photos or video onto the included SD card, so that a laptop does not need brought into the testing area. 

The image sensor is a five-megapixel CMOS with resolutions of 12 M, 9M, 5M, 3M, 1.3M and VGA and eight white LEDs for lighting.

The DigiMicro comes with measuring software.
