Local investors looking to buy Cascades’ fine papers mill in Thunder Bay say they have received a letter of intent from the company and are reviewing it now, Thunder Bay’s Source recently reported.

The report further indicated that although details of the agreement are strictly confidential, this is seen as a positive move towards a potential restart of the shuttered mill, which closed at the end of January, leaving 375 people without work.
