Kadant Johnson has launched the new PT2X steam joint for paper-drying applications.

The company says the patent-pending design, which uses 200 psig steam, is capable of 25 percent higher operating pressure than traditional paper dryer steam joints.

A new seal cartridge design includes a high-visibility wear indicator and a protective shroud.
