Paper Excellence discusses Highway 4 closure impacts with Mayor Minions

(Photo: Paper Excellence) The Paper Excellence team recently met Port Alberni Mayor Sharie Minions to discuss Highway 4 access and the ongoing challenges associated with frequent highway closures.
The company, in a press statement, thanked the Mayor for sitting down with its staff to talk about the challenges affecting the whole of the ACRD and potential solutions moving forward.
The company stated, “We appreciate the Mayor’s efforts to raise the profile of this important matter. Our mill depends on Highway 4 access for supplies, product movement and employee access to the mill. We look forward to continued dialogue with Mayor Minions and working together on solutions to this critical matter which affects the whole Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District.”
