Prince George Pulp and Paper to temporarily curtail production

September 5, 2019  By P&PC Staff

A scheduled maintenance shutdown at Canfor’s Prince George Pulp and Paper mill in Prince George, BC will be extended by two weeks into a temporary closure.

According to the Prince George Citizen, the closure is in response to low unbleached kraft pulp prices.

The maintenance takes place Sept. 14 to 22, but the mill is not expected to reopen until Oct. 7.
