Resolute has made significant strides with its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) strategy in 2023, the company shares in a statement.
The company established its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Advisory Committee at the beginning of 2022 to provide education and increase awareness around DE&I challenges; promote inclusive behavior and language; and encourage constructive, respectful conversations across the organization. The committee is composed of eight dedicated employees representing the company’s various sectors and operating regions.
The committee’s main goals in 2023 were to recommend DE&I commitments, monitor their progress and plan priorities for the year. Numerous communications were published, including a series of blog posts.
Committee members also organized several management and employee conferences, employee discussion groups and training and information sessions, such as training on unconscious bias, reaching 56 percent of employees in leadership positions, with a goal for all management employees to complete the training by the end of 2024.
Our DE&I Advisory Committee is leading the way in actively shaping a more diverse, equitable and inclusive culture. This year, the committee is developing new objectives and activities, including recommendations from cross-functional groups addressing challenges faced by women in the organization.
