October 17, 2019  By TAPPI

The Technical Planning Committee (TPC) for TAPPI’s PaperCon has extended its abstract deadline to October 25, 2019, providing global paper professionals with the additional opportunity to be part of the world’s largest technical conference for the industry.

Potential participants are encouraged to present technical successes, new technology applications, or case studies and should submit abstracts before the October 25 deadline in order to be considered.

PaperCon, taking place April 26-29, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia, brings together top minds in the industry to discuss current issues, latest developments and future strategies.

Session leaders and presenters are considered industry thought leaders. The 2020 theme is “Vision … Into the Future.”

Areas for abstract consideration include:

  • Coating and Graphic Arts
  • Paper and Board
  • Papermaking Additives
  • Process Control
  • Papermaking Fundamentals
  • Recycled Paperboard
  • Mill Reliability and Maintenance
  • Sustainability/Recycling
  • Future Trends

View the Call for Papers for specific topics of interest within each area.

Abstracts in all areas should be uploaded to the TAPPI Speaker Management System by October 25, 2019.

PaperCon 2020 will once again be co-located with the Recycled Paperboard Technical Association’s (RPTA) Production-Technical Seminar and the TAPPI/IDCON Reliability and Maintenance Program.
