TAPPI announces program for TAPPICon Virtual conference

TAPPI has released the program for TAPPICon Virtual, which takes place May 4-5.
Attendees will have the choice to select topics from various different tracks including Papermaking (PM), Papermaking Additives (PA), Papermaking Fundamentals (PF), Nonwovens (N), Tissue (T), Process Control (PC), PIMA Management (M) and Recycled Paperboard (RPTA).
Session topics include fire prevention and sustainability for tissue, strategies for managing papermaking contaminants, functional coatings with micro/nanocellulose materials, and developments in drying.
The virtual technical program includes two sessions each day from 10 am-12 pm and 1 pm-3 pm ET. See the schedule here.
TAPPI is also holding its 17th annual Runnability 5K Fun Run/Walk virtually – participants can do the walk on their own time while raising money for the association’s scholarship funds.
A second conference will be held in person this fall. TAPPICon Live! runs Oct. 3-6.
