TissueCon 2019 accepting presentation proposals on tissue making and converting

February 25, 2019  By P&PC Staff

February 25, 2019 – TAPPI and Fastmarkets RISI, co-producers of TissueCon 2019, have opened the call for presentations for this year’s conference, running October 1-4, 2019 in Orlando, Florida.

TissueCon 2019 aligns technical content in the tissue industry. Created two years ago as Tissue 2017, the annual conference was renamed TissueCon this year to better represent the growing value of its comprehensive technical information and intelligence, say organizers.

“TissueCon 2019 is the only non-commercial, peer-reviewed tissue industry conference being held in North America this year,” says Robert Dawson TAPPI’s tissue division manager, and Mike Jeapes, Fastmarkets RISI’s portfolio director, in a release. “With an expanded technical and business forecasting focus for 2019, our goal is to surface, examine and ideally solve the very issues that are keeping tissue technical professionals and executives up at night.”
