Watch for pink hand towels in public washrooms, as Cascades shows its support for breast cancer research. Cascades Tissue Group has introduced Cascades® Pink hand towels for the Away-from-Home market to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In partnership with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF), Cascades aims to help make a difference for women and families affected by this disease.

From August 1st to December 31, 2013, Cascades is donating $0.50 per case sold while supplies last, with a minimum donation of $5,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. BCRF is dedicated to preventing breast cancer and finding a cure in our lifetime by funding state-of-the-art research worldwide.

“Everyone has been touched in some way by this disease, and this is our chance to pay tribute to them, while at the same time contributing to an organization dedicated to finding a cure,” said Suzanne Blanchet, Cascades Tissue Group president and CEO. “We’re committed to supporting organizations that do good work, and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a great example.”

The Cascades Pink hand towels are available in multifold and roll formats to fit any universal dispensers in public washrooms. Made from 100% recycled fiber and a minimum of 50% post-consumer material, the hand towels use a non-harmful dye and are whitened without chlorine.
