John D. Williams, president and chief executive officer of Domtar, will take a temporary leave of absence to recover from COVID-19, the company says in a statement.
Domtar’s board of directors has appointed Daniel Buron, senior vice-president and chief financial officer, to assume Williams’s authority and responsibility until he returns from his leave of absence.
Buron will continue in his role as senior vice-president and CFO.
