FPInnovations’ Pulp, Paper, and Bioproducts Course to take place in October

FPInnovations’ Pulp, Paper, and Bioproducts Course is taking place from October 16 to 20 this year. According to the organization, the popular five-day course is designed to provide comprehensive training for a wide range of professionals in the industry, It caters to newly hired engineering interns, process engineers, technical staff and sales representatives.

FPInnovation explains that the course will cover a wide range of topics, including fibre supply, pulp and paper manufacturing processes, tissue and packaging, bioproducts, and decarbonization for the pulp and paper industry.

FPInnovations is offering participants the option to attend this year’s course in person or online. On-site participants (in Montreal) will have the opportunity to engage in live laboratory demonstrations and pilot plant tours. Online participants can experience these via video. On-site participants will also enjoy lunch and refreshments, as well as one dinner. Course materials are included for all participants.

FPInnovations states that the training course may be used to fulfill the professional development requirements for some professional designations, such as engineers and chemists. A certificate will be issued to each participant after the training course.

The course will be offered in English.
