Kadant Johnson adds three to paper and packaging services team

Kadant Johnson, a subsidiary of Kadant, has added several members to its services division to enhance its offerings to the paper and corrugated packaging industries.

Mark Bays has been appointed service sales manager. In this role, Bays is responsible for managing the planning and execution of installation, repair, and nondestructive testing (NDT) services. Bays has an extensive background in field service and project management along with expertise in non-destructive testing and analysis.

“Mark’s decades of industry experience and field service knowledge make him a valuable addition to our group and for our customers,” says Ken Lahrke, director of technical services at Kadant Johnson, in a release. “We are pleased to have Mark join our team.”

Joe Jarvis and Dean Roddy joined the services division as NDT Level III and Level II technicians, respectively. Jarvis and Roddy are responsible for Kadant Johnson NDT procedures, certifications and training. They will also provide the inspection and reporting for various types of industrial process equipment in the field, and performs installations and repairs relating to rotary joints and syphons. They both have many years of industry experience and field service knowledge.

Kadant Johnson’s services division specializes in mechanical and testing services for dryers, rolls and other equipment used in paper production and converting. Specific services include equipment installation and repair, dryer and roll inspection, NDT and dryer surface cleaning.
