Millar Western Forest Products is investing $8 million in its lumber manufacturing facility in Boyle, Alberta. Work on two major projects involving the facility’s lumber recovery, operating efficiency and wood waste management has started and is expected to be completed in 2005. The new capital projects will employ up to 30 people at the peak of construction and won’t interrupt normal mill operations.
