Resolute recognized with award for workplace safety and compliance

Resolute Forest Products’ workplace safety performance was recently recognized by the global human resources community. The company won silver at the Stevie Awards for Great Employers in the Achievements in Workplace Safety and Compliance category.

The Stevie Awards program “recognizes the world’s best companies to work for” as well as achievements that help create and drive great places to work.

The judging panel particularly commended the Resolute board’s safety award program. This program directs donations to charitable and community organizations chosen by employees when major safety milestones are achieved.

A judge noted, “Workplace safety and compliance are critical to keeping employees productive and meeting company objectives. [Resolute’s] initiative to share [its] safety goal with the community will undoubtedly improve corporate sustainability.”

The 2022 edition of the competition received over 950 nominations from organizations of all sizes in 26 countries in a wide range of HR-related categories. More than 100 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process.
