Resolute’s Thunder Bay mill contains small fire

A fire that broke out in dumper two and three at Resolute Forest Products’ pulp and paper mill in Thunder Bay, Ontario on Mar. 11 was quickly contained with no reported injuries.

According to TBnewswatch, local fire crews responded to a call from the mill shortly after 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

The fire produced significant smoke but was brought under control by the fire department alongside Resolute staff and the mill’s suppression system.
